SEE ME DISAPPEAR
A dance theatre production.
The dance is constantly vanishing.
You can’t grasp it or hold it.
You are left with the memory, the resonance, and the energized space.
As the performer journeys through her forest of memory and imagination stories of hiding, invisibility and a conflicting desire to been seen and not seen emerge through movement, theatre and visual projections.
Created & performed by Ayesha Mailey
Lighting Design and Visual Projection: Barry Davis
Sound score: Manhan (Hikari & Ichigo)
With thanks: Shannon Sickels, Gary Rowntree, Kelly Quigley, Tonya Sheina, Steve Batts, Zoe Ramsey

Catalyst is a much-needed platform to showcase the high-quality and exciting work produced by Individual Dance Artists who have received support from the Arts Council Northern Ireland through their Support the Individual Artist Programme: including the Artist Career Enhancement Scheme, General Award and Major Individual Award.
Dance Resource Base alongside Catalyst curator Eileen McClory has designed this one-day event that will provide the essential opportunity for choreographers to showcase their work in a professional capacity. These new dance works have been created to inspire creativity amongst Northern Ireland and further afield.
Other performances include Gary Rowntree’s Togetherness
, and Eileen McClory’s CUCK
. There will also be a sharing of raw materials that have been selected from emerging dance artists who are working on a new piece in order to apply for scratch works in the future.
To conclude the day there will be an On The Floor discussion concerning how a dance artist makes a work and what It takes to make it a success.
Without Catalyst, it is difficult to see how our local dance makers and performers can develop and exhibit their own voice and create works of excellence in the future to be appreciated and valued by its much loved audiences.
