Soon after, a newcomer discovers a severed foot washed ashore and joins forces with a local girl to uncover what really happened.
Their search leads them toward a haunting myth of an underwater community, and as more people begin to feel the ocean’s strange pull, the young investigators must uncover the truth before anyone else is claimed by the depths.
Afsaneh Gray is a playwright and screenwriter published by Methuen Drama, best known for the awardwinning The Border and the acclaimed satire Octopus. Her work has been recognised by major prizes including the Bruntwood and the Women’s Prize for Playwriting.
