Stage Combat

Stage Combat is a necessary and vital discipline in today's film, theatre and media industries.

The audience wants to be excited and captivated by the action whilst the actors must remain safe.

This year's course will take place from Monday the 18th to Friday 22nd July. It is suitable for all abilities offering professional qualifications from the APC at basic, intermediate and advanced levels. Stage combat instructor, Philip Rafferty, will lead the course and take you through your training, alongside regular Lyric Fight Director, Ian McCracken, teaching effective illusions of violence in both unarmed and weaponry combat. The training will culminate into a rehearsed fight which will be examined at the end of the week by the APC. All previous courses have sold very quickly so book now to secure your place.
