Post-show conversation with three of the key architects of the Good Friday/Belfast Agreement following Lyric Theatre Production of 'Agreement' at the Gate Theatre.
It was a very special night on Friday, 18 October, when the Gate Theatre held a Post-show Conversation following the Lyric's production of ‘Agreement’ on their stage. Moderated by Claire Byrne, the panel featured three key figures behind the Good Friday/Belfast Agreement: Gerry Adams, Bertie Ahern, and Reg Empey. They spoke about the play and the pivotal events of April 1998, all against the backdrop of another powerful performance of ‘Agreement’, as this incredible play continues its triumphant run in Dublin.
The Lyric tour of Agreement to the Gate has been kindly supported by Arts Council NI, Belfast City Council, Tourism NI, Department of Foreign Affairs, Queen’s University Belfast and InvestNI.
