BBC Bring the Drama at the Lyric Theare
Saturday 2nd March the Lyric opened it's doors to budding theatre industry professionals, providing exclusive backstage access to anyone seeking a career behind the curtain.
This event was part of BBCs Bring the Drama Festival; complementing the six-part BBC Two and iPlayer series that opens up the world of screen drama, the Bring the Drama Festival is a chance to look behind the scenes of film, TV and theatre.
From Front of House to backstage and our offices, each of department welcomed visitors to explore their role and try it out for themselves. Photoshoots, painting sets, financing productions with chocolate coins and choosing the perfect costumes; our lucky visitors learned all about what we do and how we do it!
