Taking place during the first week of November, Belfast Design Week is a series of specially curated talks, workshops, events, pop-ups and exhibitions to promote and celebrate design and the creative economy in Belfast and beyond. It will showcase emerging and established talent and aims to create new connections across island-wide industries.
The team behind Design Week, The Design Salon, have jumped on board the year of Irish Design 2015, an all island initiative promoting every form of design. Keeping Belfast in good company Cork, Dublin, Galway are also celebrating Design Week at the start of November.
The Lyric Theatre are delighted to be hosting Design Camp - a day-long free gathering, featuring invited speakers discussing their experiences, stories and journeys in their areas of specialism. There will also be a participant-led "Un-conference" - open to anyone from the design world to speak at, but with a particular emphasis on student and graduate speakers.
