Templegall - Made by Hegarty’s Farm in Whitechurch Village in Cork. Templegall is a swiss-style cheese, reminiscent of Gruyere, made from raw milk and matured for at least 9 months, made in large wheels and brushed 3 times a week – a lot of love and attention for a very special cheese! This has a sweet, delicate nutty flavour which goes fantastically with sweet chutney and a wholemeal bread.

This is a cheese-lovers cheese – winner of Best Semi-soft Cheese (Artisan CheeseAwards) in 2018 and 2019, winner of Best Irish Cheese (British Cheese Awards) 2017 and winner of 3 Gold Stars (Great Taste Awards, UK) 2016. A small cheese with a big personality.
