Today is Teacher's Day! Here at the Lyric, we would like to take a moment to celebrate the outstanding teachers we have the privilege of working with throughout the year. These dedicated educators play a crucial role in bringing our education and outreach programs to life.
Since 2018, we have collaborated with nearly 100 schools across Northern Ireland through our Affiliated Schools Scheme. This partnership aims to enhance the Drama Curriculum in these schools, and we are incredibly grateful for the participation of the wonderful teachers involved.
The commitment and passion shown by these teachers is truly inspiring. Their ongoing support and collaboration with our Creative Learning Department at the Lyric have been invaluable. Their feedback and advice have greatly influenced and shaped our work.

Philip, Erin and Kathy are always on hand to provide both teacher and student support and they are simply a lifeline we could not survive without."
This year, we are excited to be working with more than 20 schools and will be visiting all council areas during the academic year with workshops, Q&As and visits. Our goal is to continue expanding our resources and support for teachers and students in the field of Drama and Theatre in Northern Ireland. Additionally, we are constantly updating our resources on the Lyric website, providing education packs, career guidance, and opportunities for young people in the arts.
