Beth Strahan
Beth Strahan is a graduate of Drama and Theatre Studies at Trinity College Dublin. Beth made her directorial debut in a professional theatre in February of 2023, with Trinity Musical Theatre’s production of Sweet Charity, after directing a production of Legally Blonde in Trinity Halls (2022). Beth has since devised and directed her original piece Cailíní in the Samuel Beckett Theatre, Dublin (2023). Beth’s other credits in the Samuel Beckett Theatre include The Plague (SM, 2022, dir. Mariya Strashilova), In The Eye Of The (performer, 2022, dir. Sarah Joan), and Anna (performer, 2024, dir. Gillian Weston). Beth’s Musical Theatre credits include the role of “Roxie Hart” in Fred Ebb’s Chicago (2019, dir. James Huish), which she won “Best Youth Performer” for at the 2020 NODA Awards, and “Cinderella” in Stephen Sondheim’s Into The Woods (2018, dir. James Huish). Beth’s most recent performance credit is in Sam Killian’s Spaces and Waves in the Smock Alley Theatre (2022). Beth is currently devising and assistant directing Brunswick Productions Five Year Stand, which is part of the Grand Opera House Belfast’s Studio Series in June. Her theatre company ABLAZE productions has produced Cailíní.
