Dr Linley Hamilton
Dr. Linley Hamilton has been a professional trumpet player for over thirty years, has released 6 albums as leader, and has appeared as sideman on over a hundred more. He is a Lecturer in Music at Ulster University Magee and co-director of Magy’s Farm, a performance and space and music development centre in Co. Down. Linley has had his own jazz show on BBC Radio Ulster for 15 years, Jazzworld, and is renowned for his previous work with Paul Brady, Dana Masters, Andrew Strong and Van Morrison. He continues to be central to the jazz scene in Ireland as a performer, educator, broadcaster, mentor and researcher.
