Fergus Wachala-Kelly
Fergus is an award-winning illustrator and animator. His illustration work has been featured in the international publication ‘Drawn 4; Leaders in Contemporary Illustration’ published by Capsule Books and most recently ‘Queer Assembly; A Cataloged Exhibition of Northern Irish Queer Expression’.
Fergus is also a theatre maker currently developing ‘SHAME SHOW’ with Colm McCready as part of Tinderbox Theatre Co. Incubate programme and the MAC Belfast’s HATCH Artist Development programme. He was also a MAKE artist supported by the Dublin Fringe, Theatre Forum, Project Arts Centre and Cork Midsummer.
Fergus creates original illustrations and frame by frame animations to produce unique visuals for each show he has worked on. His recent credits include ‘The Night Before Christmas’ (The MAC Belfast), ‘Cinderella’ (Brassneck Theatre Co.)
