2025/26 Lyric Theatre School Term 3: Yr 8, 9 & 10
Creative Learning
This class will explore a wide range of performance and acting techniques from improvisation and characterisation to script work and physical theatre. The group will start to develop their own ‘toolkit’ learning key skills essential to any actor.
With a strong emphasis on teamwork, participants will work on extracts from scripts as well as devising their own characters and stories. The devising process will help young people to develop essential skills such as confidence and communication, creative thinking and decision making.
Classes are led by our team of professional facilitators and will encourage young people to grow in confidence and develop new skills.
