Alexandra Wood is a Londonbased playwright whose work includes The Tyler Sisters, The Initiate, and Never Vera Blue. Her adaptations include The Suspicions of Mr Whicher, Silence, and Wild Swans. She also writes for audio, including Descent and Twelve Years. A George Devine Award winner and former Paines Plough playwrightinresidence, she is published by Nick Hern Books.
