Following a string of sold-out performances, Mary Dillon, Dónal O’Connor, and Neil Martin launch their long-awaited debut album as part of Belfast International Arts Festival.

Few singers are as cherished as Mary Dillon. A two-time All-Ireland singing champion from Dungiven, County Derry, her voice, pure as crystal and deep as a spring well, has captivated audiences for decades. Steeped in a rich family tradition, she brings authenticity and emotional depth to every song she sings.

From a distinguished lineage of Oriel fiddlers and singers, Dónal O’Connor is widely recognised as one of Ireland’s leading musicians and producers. A founding force behind projects including Ulaid and At First Light, he has also worked extensively with RTÉ Radio 1 Folk Singer Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh’s touring ensemble and collaborated with Paul Brady, Horslips, John McSherry, Liam Ó Maonlaí, Ríoghnach Connolly, Duke Special, Davy Spillane, and Karen Matheson, to name but a few.

Belfast born cellist, uilleann piper and composer Neil Martin has forged a singular path between classical and traditional music. His work has been performed around the globe, from Ground Zero to Mostar Bridge, the Royal Albert Hall to the International Space Station. As a performer, producer and arranger, he has contributed to over 100 albums and appeared in venues including Carnegie Hall and Palazzo Vecchio.
