Led by professional fight director Philip Rafferty, this intensive, high‑energy week‑long course offers comprehensive training in creating safe, compelling illusions of violence for stage.

Participants will be guided through both unarmed combat and weaponry, exploring practical techniques, choreography, and best practice for performance and teaching contexts.

The course is open to all experience levels and provides the opportunity to gain professional qualifications accredited by the APC, at Basic, Intermediate, or Advanced levels (subject to assessment).

These qualifications are Equity‑recognised and are a valuable addition to any actor’s CV.

Please note: the course culminates in a formal examination. All participants must be prepared to undertake the assessment at the end of the week.
