At the Lyric Theatre we aim to make our full range of activities accessible to all customers. We pride ourselves on being accessible to everyone who enters our doors. We offer a free carer seat to any customer who needs essential assistance to attend the theatre.
We have an accessible entrance at Ridgeway Street and lift access to all floors. We have two extended disabled parking bays with dropped kerbs in front of the Ridgeway Street entrance. This entrance can also serve as a drop-off point for customers with access needs. We have wheelchair spaces in several areas within both auditoria.
Babe-in-arms tickets are available for children under the age of two years old who do not require their own seat. This ticket is free of charge and must be booked through Box Office.
In the Main Stage we have a rise and fall platform, offering wheelchair seating in Row J. Other options are available in Row R and the Balcony. In the Naughton Studio, there are wheelchair spaces in the front row. We ask customers to give us advance notice of their needs when booking. All seats are the same size and they are 17" wide. Legroom and row incline can vary. If you require a larger seat or any more details on your booking, please contact Box Office for further information.
Baby changing facilities are available on the ground floor. An adult changing mat is also available, on request from our Box Office.
We welcome assistance dogs in both auditoria. Again, we ask customers to give us advance notice of their needs when booking and bring the accompanying documentation. We offer a free carer seat to any customer who needs essential assistance to attend the theatre.
