The Lyric Theatre is shocked and saddened to learn about the sudden passing of our colleague and friend, Keith Ginty. Keith was involved with the Lyric Theatre for over 10 years, heading up the Production department, and managing a very busy technical team. Keith worked very hard to make the Lyric a success. He was a major part of the transitional team that got the Lyric into its beautiful re-created home in 2012. There was no task that Keith did not go at with gusto and nobody worked harder than Keith in getting the show up on time.
Keith was a kind man and went out of his way to help people where he could. He was loved and respected by his Lyric colleagues and we are devastated at his passing.
He will be greatly missed by everyone of us here at the Lyric and all those involved in theatre in Northern Ireland. We send our deepest sympathies to his family.
