We’re delighted to share that our valued corporate partnership with KPMG, first established in March 2025, will continue into the 2026–2027 season, enabling us to build on the work we’re doing together to support creativity, learning and access to the arts across our community.
First launched in spring 2025, the partnership was established to support the Lyric Theatre’s community and outreach work, particularly programmes focused on inclusion, accessibility, and youth engagement across Northern Ireland. The collaboration highlights shared goals between the cultural institution and KPMG’s corporate citizenship strategy, including widening arts participation and creating opportunities for young people who might not otherwise have access to theatre and creative education.
The extension of this partnership through 2026–2027 means that KPMG’s support will continue to play a key role in funding and enabling the Lyric’s creative learning initiatives, educational outreach in schools and communities, and efforts to make theatre more accessible to diverse audiences.
In 2025 alone, the Lyric’s outreach programmes engaged more than 7,000 children and young people throughout Northern Ireland, welcoming over 100,00 audience members.
Johnny Hanna, Partner-in-Charge of KPMG in Northern Ireland, reaffirmed the firm’s enthusiasm for the ongoing collaboration, noting the transformative power of live theatre and its ability to inspire future generations.
Claire Murray, Head of Development and Marketing at the Lyric Theatre, echoed this sentiment, emphasising KPMG’s commitment to making positive community impact.
With this renewal, audiences and communities can expect the Lyric Theatre to continue not only as a key cultural venue but also as a hub for community engagement and learning, supported by one of the region’s leading professional services firms through the 2026–2027 season.
