Curiosity is a trait we value here at the Lyric. Our Summer Programme welcomes kids aged 6 - 18+ who want to learn about art, drama, stage, combat, stage management and technical theatre.

This summer we have a packed programme of workshops for young people of all ages!
The theme for our Summer Programme this year is…Dreams
Embark on a journey of creativity this summer at The Lyric Summer School. Inspired by our vibrant Midsummer At The Lyric festival this July our theme is Dreams. Our participants will delve into their own interpretations, sparked by tales of magic, love and the power of imagination.
Throughout the week-long program, participants will engage in a dynamic array of drama-related activities. From acting exercises to movement workshops and voice training. Our younger attendees will also delve into the world of theatre design, crafting artwork to adorn the stage, a memento of their artistic journey.
Beyond performance, our focus lies on learning in a nurturing environment, attendees will build confidence, forge new friendships, and acquire valuable skills, all while having fun.
