Every year on the third Thursday of November, Beaujolais Nouveau is released on to the market. Beaujolais is a fresh and fruity red and is said to be an early indicator of the quality of the year's regional wine harvest and is enjoyed by palates the world over.
The wine belongs to a category of wines called vins primeurs, meaning any wine sold in the same year it is harvested, not long after completing fermentation.
Come join the celebrations this Thursday at the Lyric before Christine Bovill's PIAF on the main stage.
